About the event

At the Monday, March 15 YakFest, Author Sylvia Taylor pivots creatively from non-fiction to poetry! Mother-and-daughter novelists, each with their own book this year: Pierina Procino Di Zozzo and Amanda Di Zozzo! Then Gina Rokas takes us on a journey of fields of wildflowers for the Bluebonnet Trails of Ennis, Texas. Author Wendy Burton reads from her book, Ivy's Tree! Poet Laureate du Jour Catherine Lewis lifts us up lyrically! Jan Meeks brings the Cheering Section News Report! Ellen Everard makes us laugh four ways with Laughter Yoga!  Writer/artist Coranne Creswell has a dynamite 2-minute book review for us - get out your egg-timer, and host Jacqueline Carmichael pulls it all together!
