Roslyn Franken is an author, speaker – Her book The A List, about taking care of yourself. A cancer survivor whose parents survived the Holocaust and the bombing of Nagasaki, Roslyn has been a guest on numerous television and radio shows and featured in newspapers and magazines across North America. She is also a radio personality as host of the popular How to Thrive after 35 and co-author of Death Can Wait: Stories from Cancer Survivors.
Judy Millar does workshops on how to write a “legacy letter” – kind of like a little memoir. Judy is a Canadian writer, humorist and professional speaker who entertains audiences with hilarious, original stories, often based on her life experiences. She leaves her audiences laughing—and better able to find the humour in their own lives. She also enjoys helping people find their own funny bones.
Catherine Bruhwiler is the owner/operator of Tofino Paddle Surf. She loves to spend most of her time in the ocean. A talented surfer with a beautiful style, she's a surf coach and surf mom of one of Canada’s first Surfing Olympic hopefuls. Catherine represented Canada at the Pan American Games in 2019 as one of the first members of the Canadian Surf Team. As one of the 9 qualified SUP Surf females in the Americas, this was an unbelievable dream come true for one of Canada’s first professional surfers.
Join Ellen Everard who joins us from the beautiful Barkley Sound for a happy dose of Laughter Yoga, and remember - your body can't tell the difference between a fake laugh and deep-seated joy, so 'fake it 'til you make it' for your health's sake!
Our Poet Laureate du Jour is Shameeka Hope, poetically known as IndigoSoul or S Dot Soul. She's a poet/writer/lyricist/Blogtalk radio host born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y.
